A special friend’s daughter was having difficulty reaching the faucets on her sink so her Mom asked me to build a small step stool.
I thought long and hard on this one. What style? What wood? What finish? Looking through my wood stash I found the perfect board……curly maple. Perfect. Keep the design simple, personalize with initials, and then put my on my favorite finish, shellac.
