Circa 1816
Photo of a custom floor inlay. The inlay is for a historic home now used as office space in Franklin TN. The green wood is antique poplar salvaged from an old barn. Other species include, maple, walnut, and cherry.

Reproduction Finial
Today I made a copy of an antique finial. The copy is made from African Mahogany chemically stained, and then burnished with Beeswax colored shellac. Guess which one is the copy?
