Coffin: bottom attached

Bottom of coffin is now attached with glue and wood dowels in a ship lap fashion to allow for seasonal changes in humidity during storage.

Coffin: foot board and headboard secured with hot hide glue

Headboard cut to fit and then glued with hide glue yesterday. This morning wooden pegs were inserted to secure and strength the butt joint. Next the bottom will be added, and then the breast board can be removed.
